Why I Haven't Been Working Out

My knee hurts
My baby doesn't let me work out for long before he needs entertainment
My husband works supah dupah early so I can't do it in the morning (unless it is like 4:30am, not happening)
It's too hot outside to go for walks
I work too late to get a workout in before I pick the baby up from day care
I don't feeeeel like it
I have been spending my free time watching Gossip Girl and Weeds
I'd rather go shopping

Oh, right. This is how one gets fat. I keep having flashbacks of last summer while I sat on the couch with a bag of cookies, Arby's, and a sweet tea, talking about how I was pregnant and surely shouldn't take a walk. Excuses excuses excuses. My next post should be all the reasons I haven't been tracking. :)

So here's the plan....

Work is stressful y'all. I do work late most evenings, and that's my own fault. So I can relieve stress two ways.

1. Quit work on time.
2. Work out for 45 minutes before I go pick little man up.

And that is precisely what I'm going to do.

As for eating. I haven't been eating bad at all. Been maintaining weight, yes, but I have those last 5 pounds (which fluctuates between 5 and 7) to go (to get to my average comfortable weight). I have a LOT of toning up to do as well.

So what are my goals?
1. Work out...and heal my knee.
2. Track everything for the next week.

Long term:
1. Get into my pre-pregnancy pants by fall.
A little background on the pants. I was ALMOST to my goal of 125 while I was still 25. I had gotten down to a size I hadn't worn since high school. 6. I bought several skirts and pants from Banana Republic and 2 weeks later I found out I was pregnant. Some of those pants still have tags on them.

I am fitting into a loose 10 and a tight 8/9 right now depending on the sizing structure. Going down 1-2 sizes may not seem like a big deal...BUT for whatever reason on my small frame it is.  

And for your viewing pleasure, that little hand grabbing my face has sharp nails and squeezes hard. This is what he does while he eats.

I'm here!!

Phew what a busy time of year this is. I have also been slacking in the running and weight loss department. My runner's knee has returned, and I got comfortable with 7 pounds left to lose. Trying hard to get my head back in the game.

Tonight: Yoga
Tomorrow: 30 Day Shred
Thursday: Yoga
Friday: 30 Day Shred (Maybe, it is my birthday, might skip it!)

Here is me and my favorite fella from a wedding over the weekend.

Isn't he handsome?? Don't let those sleeves fool you, I have lots of flab to tone up on those arms. Lifting that heavy guy will help though. :)
